As you know, there is national scheme for young people to be walking to school. This daily exercise is beneficial and cars driving up to the school pose a safety issue. Pupils will start receiving rewards again for walking to school.

Wood End Park pupils used to be excellent at walking to school but recently we have seen a high number of pupils being dropped off right by the school gates. Let’s see if our pupils at Wood End Park Academy can achieve this goal. 

Thank you for all of your support. Thank you to all families who are already supporting the Walk to School campaign. Below we will be monitoring which classes have achieved the highest goal of walking to school each week and these children will be rewarded with a special award.
