Year 5 and 6, had a visit from the Youth Engagement Team from the Metropolitan Police. The year 5 and 6 children were spoken to about online safety. The hour long session, Initiated discussion on the possible dangers whilst online, using online gaming platforms, social media, cyber bullying and the consequences when misused. The year 6 children were then delivered a follow up session on anti-knife crime, drugs and gangs. The children found the sessions very useful and gained some strategies and Information to safeguard themselves and their friends.
