Celebration Assemblies

Each week, we gather as a school to celebrate pupils' achievements. Each teacher selects a pupil who has gone above and beyond in showing our PRIDE values to be Star of the Week; receiving a handshake and a star badge presented to them by the principal. Every child will be star of the week at least once per year, earning themselves a bronze badge. Some children can earn star of the week a second time, receiving a silver badge, and on rare occasions, pupils who have shown exceptional conduct throughout the school year will receive a coveted gold badge.

We also celebrate school attendance each week, with the class with the highest attendance for each key stage receiving extra play as a reward. Each year group also selects a Reading Star, recognising their efforts in phonics, reading lessons, or on Accelerated Reader.
